got blasted for the last time at a 4th of July picnic 5 years ago - went to AA and has been clean ever since, bless his heart. But you better get into Al-Anon. You would be surprised how much you "help" the alcoholic be successful at failing...

Sweety, this is abuse. Get thee to a counselor, the dude is sucking you dry.
The twit I just divorced got to the point that if HIS annoying me didn't work, he'd pick a fight, put the kid in the middle and then laugh as I tried to save the kid from that kind of abuse.

Ditch the B---d. And get into counseling.
