and have osteopenia....sm

I never took HRT, decided 5+ years ago to just deal with menopause...because I studied about HRT online for years and I believe (just one person's opinion here) that HRT causes more damage and other problems regarding other cancers down the road.

So, yeah, I got hot flashes for over 10 years.  My GYN told me he has a 75 y/o patient, postmenopausal 20 years, who still calls him up and tells him about her hot flashes.  So, that tells me the hot flashes may NEVER END.  *LOL*

By the way, absolutely NO MOOD SWINGS since I'm 42 which was first signs of the onset of menopause (it TAKES about 10 YEARS from beginning to end.....my mom-in-law told me that when I was 40 and she was RIGHT!!)

So, my advice to my friends is if you can do without the HRT try it.  For the osteopenia, I take Evista and calcium.

Have a nice Sunday :)
