I have been checking out fed. gov. jobs. According to them, a MT is called a "medical data technician" and they make less than a "medical records technician" which according to the description is someone who has no skill and just is in a file or front desk answering phones, pulling charts, etc., not even coding or analyzing the chart! Can you believe that?
