And no matter what we say, they'll just keep on having baby after baby, just like animals! The unfairness of it all! What will become of us all?

Hope you're gonna have a glass of wine while you're relaxing
in your spa goodies. Congrats!
Yes, like rabbits! You remembered I really like rabbits!!
I have lots and lotsa rabbits! 14 to be exact! I wish there were rabbit smilie faces, or sad faces, or biting rabbit faces. Rabbits can bite, ya know?? And, yes, they like to make more rabbits! Lots and lots of rabbits!
I hope you are!! :-) Sorry, but you're just gonna
have to wait!! I know the agony and excitement and worry and excitement....I remember seeing on TV a brandie new preg tester that says it can detect pregnancy even before you miss your period. Can't remember the name, but I would haunt my pharmacist for it!! I want to say, based on my experience, that you may very well be pregnant. Whenever I saw a faint anything, which was always how my turned out, it meant pregnant! I remember my husband and I so excited, holding the things sideways, in the light, in the dark, with a magnifying glass, etc. We SO wanted it to be positive!! And every time it was even a faint something, it turned out that I was pregnant. Just had to wait a few more days to get a more positive positive! We went thru so much $$ buying those precious testers!! Hang in there!! Let us know, OK?!
girl, you're gonna love it!...
I love ours! I buy all my groceries there. Some things are like a dollar "less expensive" there than at a regular grocery store. It just makes me nauseous to buy something at a regular grocery store, when I know it's cheaper at W/M! I love it!!! Of course, I am the queen of cheap!!!
You're gonna have to check with the specific account on this one..........nobody goes by the sam

I will not feed the trolls...I will not feed the troll
I will not feed the troll. Geez, she is everywhere.
If you're happy and you know it...
I have been with a company for a long time, and am now looking elsewhere. I have enjoyed moderate flexibility with hours, employer-supplied equipment, easy-to-use software, fair support, moderate pay. I am looking for the same, just with more money. I would hate to entirely give up flexibility in hours. Any suggestions?
If you're happy with your production, don't bother with it now.

Yes, MTSO, we're all happy. When did MTSOs

Does anyone know about baby rabbits????
I found them today. Their eyes are closed. There is no mother in sight. My dog already got 2, but I have fenced them in with enough space for the mother if she comes, but maybe my dog ate her :(. Should I move them. I am watching the dog and not letting her out unsupervised, but I can't keep that up for too long. Any advice would be appreciated. I want to save them, but I don't have all day to look after them.
Baby rabbits
Mother rabbits only come to the nest to feed the babies at night to avoid drawing attention to the nest by potential predators. The best way to determine if she is returning to the nest is to gently replace the grass/leaves that may have been covering the nest and place at least two peices of thread/twine/yarn over the nest in an X pattern and check in the morning to see if it is moved. You can also try putting a lite dusting of flour on the ground to check for footprints (just be sure it is far enough away to prevent attracting ants to the babies). While it can be done, the unfortunate fact is babies rabbits have an extremely high mortality rate when attempting to bottle feed, so if you can be sure the mother is still taking care of them, the best thing is to leave them alone. If you are sure she is not feeding them do not attempt to feed them yourself, cow's milk can be fatal. Contact a wildlife rehabilitator in your area and follow their instructions until they can pick it up. Be sure to remember that it is also against the law to keep any "wild" animal.
baby rabbits
Had somewhat similar situation and talked to wildlife people here (Wa state) they told me if the eyes were open, the baby was about 5 inches long, and the ears were standing up, it could survive on its own. Otherwise, ohoh. Sometimes you can locate the wildlife rescue org for your area on the internet.
Good luck to you - at least you are trying to help them.
One other thing they told me is that wild rabbits should not be domesticated - they are extremely unlikely to survive if handled.
You're right! I forgot! I'm happy! Not even a hugely ignorant poster can change that! I AM hap
This is the dawn of my happy day, and I will NOT forget it again! Thanks Michelle!! Well, Dr. Burpinchortle is calling me - he has a STAT report! Really, its been fun, and I would love to do it again! Maybe tomorrow night?? This was really fun! I mean it!! Good night!
Factoid: Rabbits are faster than even this --- SM
An unspayed female cat, her mate, and all their offspring would produce 11,606,977 kittens in 9 years. LOL
OK. I AM REALLY GOING TO BED NOW. GOODNIGHT.
Well if I'm gonna dream I'm gonna dream big! hehe
Does anyone get the live feed on
BB and now who won HOH last night?
Please do not feed the troll.

I will not feed the troll...I will not feed the troll...
nor will I give it a drink...
I can't feed the trolls
I promised myself I would not antagonize the almighty know-it all's that keep attacking poor innocent posters with vicious rude remarks. It only keeps it going. Even though I would really like to tell a couple of them off, and one in particular. Let 'em starve, I guess. Maybe they will go away eventually.
What does this mean, I will not feed the troll?
x
Exactly! As we say around here, "don't feed the
trolls"!! It does work, and I know how hard it is not to respond to the flamingly rude posts, but like you said, if we all try, the TROLL will lose its power and go away. I'm game!! I will not feed the troll...I will not feed the troll...
I get no feed back from QA at all, zip from my MQ office.
:
go to Africa and feed them rice, better yet
I feed Innova too, the Evo brand
I would love to feed BARF and have tried in the past, but it confused me, read 3 books on it, but I was always afraid I wasn't using enough of the right ingredients and being a vegitarian the meat handling was a lot for me to deal with. I also subscribe to the Whole Dog Journal, great magazine. Would love to have a sheltie in the future. I have an American Eskimo right now who I love dearly and 3 cats, feed all of them Evo with fresh chicken nightly. Glad others here are aware of the terrible ingredients of commercial companion animal food. Thanks for sharing.
or by your conception, you could feed your son to your puppy.
x
yes me too nn - i need to be reminded not to feed the trolls -
it is hard like you say, especially since that's probably just what they want - to get everyone riled up and upset. We are better than that !
I agree...will not feed the troll...will not
feed the troll. They are everywhere just waiting to jump and criticise, and make a fool out of you. trolls disappear...trolls disapear.
Here's another one. Don't feed the trolls ladies!
Even 9 cpl is chicken-feed. I'm making (sm)
9.5 cpl, working 10-12 hours a day, and still barely making ends meet. Unfortunately I've been at this a long, long time (28+ years) and don't know how to do anything else. It's a little late to be going back to school, too. Still, if the right opportunity should arise, I will probably jump ship.
Zzzzzz! :D Don't feed the trolls. nm

How dare you make a TV show about my life without offering to pay me?

Looking for feed back from someone who uses AT&T as their internet provider sm
I get my work over the internet and am just wondering how they are with their services. If you lose your internet, how long does it usually take to get it back up? Do you find them helpful if you have to call? Do they return phone calls promptly? Do they come in and set it up, or do you have to? I'd appreciate any info and feedback about their services. Thanks!
Obviously I am hitting a nerve somewhere
that you are taking offense to my posts. So which one is it, are you fat, ugly, have an acne problem or all of the above?
Struck a nerve, huh?
I just can't imagine any worthwhile MT being offended by what I said. The reason they wouldn't be offended is because they are the ones picking up the slack for these clowns! The losers I referred to are the main reason Indians are getting work from the US! If every American MT went to work every day and delivered top-notch documents, the Indians wouldn't be making a dime off transcription.
FYI, I don't hire Indians as I spend too much time each day fixing errors made by American MTs. Also, if you are working somewhere that you cannot respond to QA and show them where you documented what you transcribed, then I'd say you need to get out because it's a no-win situation and you are at their mercy.
Listen to the nerve of this one!
over and when I stood at the door, not letting her in, she pushed her way in anyway. I told her I was working and she said,"That's okay I will just sit in the chair beside you AND NOT TALK!" Oh, and she did...but her baby didn't, he cried and screamed until he fell asleep and she sat there and looked at me for over an hour. Let me tell you, that will never happen again. Learned my lesson then and there!
People have a lot of nerve.
I am not trying to be rude, but what kind of friend pushes her way into your house just to distract you while you work? What was the point?
Do you think you have a pinched nerve?
Pinched nerves can cause a lot of problems. You may want to call your doctor today. If you had a stroke you should be checked out ASAP. Not everyone dies with a stroke. Some people have them and don't even know it. Good luck.
Hmm, seems to have struck a nerve.
aa
Wow, you really don't like me! I must have touched a nerve with you.
Do you work for the AAMT or are you a MTSO cheating your MTs or outsourcing to India? Or maybe you are one of those holier-than-thou QA people I've railed against? You know, the ones that never make mistakes and stroke their egos by finding mistakes in everything from medical reports to generic posts on a casual message board?
As for my dismally failing blog - um it's just a blog, my own personal soapbox. Nothing more, nothing less. Oh and thanks for reading it.
i've been through that too...ppl have nerve,
i think after 3 years of working from home i have finally taught my mom and my sister to quit calling and asking me to run here and there for them, ....took a while, didnt want to hurt their feelings...but its like...they cant do it becuz they are working...HELLO!!!!!!!!!!
eScription on last nerve
Posted over the weekend and got a response but just wondering, anyone else working on escription that the program is really, really slow, like jerky in the audio and then jerky for you to transcribe if doing straight typing? Had new ram put on and have fast access so really don’t know what else I can do, cleaned up the computer as far as defraging it. Any other ideas?
Some peeps have nerve
Well my goodness...SIMON...how interesting that name should be used for such a rude post...wonder if its a real name or does he wish he were SIMON off of that tele show...you guys know which one I am referring too, or maybe HE is is love with the other Simon...oh who knows...anyway...to point out your ignorance Simon, just because someone does not know the next steps to take in regards to opening a business or whatever the case may be and that person ask questions of others who may know, well that only educates them more. There is never a "DUMB" question. We learn by asking questions by talking and listening to others. You Simon have pointed out the true reality that there are those who assume or dont ask questions or make rude comments to cover up their own lack of intelligence. And you Simon, well you just put your ownself in that category.
One nerve left
"The decision to change the name of the organization from AAMT to AHDI was made by the members of the House of Delegates (HOD). These are volunteers elected by the membership..."
That was smart. You didn't pay anyone to do your dirty work for you, which must let you off some legal hook or other.
"The HOD felt it was important to broaden the name of the organization to include anyone working in healthcare documentation - as many transcriptionists are working in peripheral roles as editors, QA personnel, supervisory and management positions, educators, ..."
...Indian MTs, whose business now supports AHDI management in the manner to which we have become accustomed,...
"etc. Speaking for myself, I haven't transcribed a medical report for pay in at least 5 years, so calling me a medical Transcriptionist no longer encompasses my role. Nonetheless, I am passionate about the integrity of healthcare documentation - and I developed this passion as an MT. For me, AHDI is a better representation of where I fit in..."
...and we definitely needed to relieve ourselves of that pesky restriction to American MTs, which is why we unloaded that dinosaur...
javascript:editor_insertHTML('text','');
well it takes a lot of nerve to get sm
on this board and tell American MTs how things are and how to do things when you can't speak the language or communicate well. You are suppose to be an MT but you can't speak the language? Well I doubt that the documents you put out are very good either! Sorry but this is the reason American MTs don't have MT jobs so you need to stick to your country and your MTs and stay out of giving advice here. IMHO.......sorry I need to spell that out, IN MY HUMBLE OPINION!
