Something tragic happens, and instead of grieving or any other rational response, you freak about who to blame, and laying the blame on the absolutely 100% BLAMELESS people- the parents! They should have FORESEEN THIS TRAGEDY? Oh my gosh. Perhaps the mother shouldn't have been SO STUPID AS TO GET PREGNANT? Sheesh, she had one child already, right? They surely could have planned better. The police are in the "blame game" - its their JOB. If they don't think the babysitters were "negligent", then neither should we. I get the jest of the "warning label" post, but you cannot deny the fact that SHE CHOSE this man. She also chose the first man she married and divorced. Get screwed over once, it's them; get screwed over twice, it's you. The last thing I would suggest to the original poster would be to leave her current husband in order to find a third one. She's not good at picking husbands. Even if both of them were losers .... she's an adult and she made that choice. Maybe she didn't know he was a jerk beforehand. Well, that again proves that she is lacking the proper skills needed to pick a suitable husband and father. If you marry a jerk, you have nobody to blame but yourself. If you continue to stay married to a jerk, your kids will end up blaming you, too.

i just found out that Joran had a black eye from that night, supposedly from a fight with some guys. My theory is that he tried to force himself on Natalie, she fought, ended up dead and dear daddy the wanna-be judge helped dispose of her via his connections; i don't believe we'll ever find the body. Hope i'm wrong. I don't buy the just-a-kid idea. If it was an accident, he's had the opportunity to say so, make it right and deal with it. but no, him and dad are obviously in-the-know but not saying.
as far as the prejudice -- i think we all have it in some form to some degree or another, be it for color, obese folks, hill-folk, uneducated, religious, etc etc. Hopefully we will eventually all grow past it and see another soul, as God does.
Yes, media seems to have bias, but it is a reflection of the real world bias too. We've come a long way maybe, but it changes person by person, and it doesn't happen quickly.

By calling people PETA freaks, it shows how intolerant you are. To each their own but there certainly is documentation of animal abuse and cruelty in this country. Maybe you are the pot calling the kettle black, by calling PETA freaks, maybe you are the freak, eh?

I'm not complaining about an Indian MT taking good work from me and I don't know anyone within the company who gives out that information anyway. I do believe you might resolve your issues by telling the whole story because at first glance it just sounds like you are complaining and really don't want a solution. If that's the case I am sorry for you. I am also sorry for you that your source came up with an "Indian MT" taking your work who only wants American doctors to cause your blood to boil. Not only does this intruder come from India but she leaves you with the lousy Indian dictators. Not that you sound prejudiced or anything. But do you really need all that info to perform your job?  Or is someone trying to stir you up like that higher source you have within the company. Maybe they want you to get mad  and quit! Be careful who you believe and IF your source information is valid what are you going to do with it but fret? That's not a good thing friend.
Putting a positive spin on MT resume
Updating my resume and wondering if there is suggested format when one is an MT? Not a lot of job hopping per se but multiple jobs at once (for enough lines). When I list them all its hard not to make it look bad with so many company names.

It breaks my heart to see how often this sort of thing seems to be happening these days. Just read in Sunday's AJC about a 12-yo girl in a nearby community whose "uncle" (apparently not her blood uncle, but someone she refers to as uncle) advertised her sexual services on the Internet, got several "takers" (that is ALL they are), and was video taping all of it, including her having sex with her 14-yo boyfriend. This is in an upscale metro Atlanta community . . . I guess it's not safe anywhere anymore. Very, very sad.

They absolutely sicken me. They are a radical CHURCH group believe it or not that protest funerals all over the U.S. on the basis that for one they love the publicity..and their "grounds" for protesting funerals is that the people who are dead are dead because it's God's punishment to the world for society's and the military's acceptance of gays. That's it. I mean come on...I don't care what your position is on gays, I cannot fathom the idea that they feel it's ok to stand outside the funeral of a soldier killed in Iraq or now these poor innocent children....to hold up disgusting hate signs with such things as "911 is God's gift to gays"..and they truly believe these people deserve to die because of this. It's total INSANITY to say the least. They are absolutely disgusting.

I work in QA and would probably welcome an email from an MT who said they really tried but that there were numerous blanks in a report they just sent to me. I frequently did exchange emails with helpful hints and tips to the MTs until we were given a quota to reach, then I had to cut down on the "extra" feedback and just send the basics. I hated it because I like the personal touch with feedback.
Some QA staff do end up with their job as a power trip; I was just never that way. I remember what it was like waiting on feedback and cringeing at some of the remarks I would see. I vowed not to do that to fellow co-workers.

step up to the plate and do something about offshoring. Insurance companies definitely have to get involved because they are the ones paying the bills. Others paying the insurance bills in some instances (self-insured, Medicaid, etc.) are the patients or tax paying American citizens.
