more testing to get a diagnosis. Doctors are too quick to write a prescription these days. My oldest son was diagnosed by 2 different developmental pediatricians and we went through extensive testing.
I don't believe starting a new job is the answer currently. You need to resolve your current issues, give the medication time to kick in and see how you do. If you don't resolve those issues they will follow you to the next job.
If you don't already, have some coffee or Mountain Dew about 30 minutes before starting work. The caffeine can help you focus. If you get some exercise prior to starting work that may help too.
Get a timer and set it and work until it goes off. Remove the distractions from your immediate work area. If you have a door close it.
Sounds like you and DH have bigger problems than just this situation and you/he need counseling.
I wish you well.
