You seem serious so here goes

I hope we're talking about a GOOD supervisor:

1)  You need to be at least as knowledgeable as the most knowledgeable person working under you.

2)  You must be willing to roll up to the keyboard and fill in 24/7 for your supervisees who tell you their grandmother has died for at least the 6th time and so they can't work their shift, etc. etc. etc.

3)  You must have the patience of Job.

If you haven't lost interest after reading #1, #2 and #3 requirements,  I'll go on.  No need wasting my time and your's if these 3 requirements don't appeal to you.
