You must find a way to go back to school.  I think you know how to handle this and make your husband very happy at the same time to change his mind and in the interim while you achieve your goals.  Yeah,it's not gonna' be easy but anything worthwhile to obtain never comes easy.

Flex your muscle(s) in your feminine way - bite the bullet - do what you have to do to achieve your goals.  You won't be sorry.
