Uninstalling DocQScribe first, install SP3, check windows update for any updates after that, including harware drivers, then reinstall your DocQscribe. F-keys sound like a driver stuck somewhere or stuck registry key. Make sure you do a full uninstall through add/remove programs to clean it out of the registry. Oh - if you have CCleaner or something, get rid of old temp files that might be hanging around before and after you re-install your DocQscribe. CCleaner (crap cleaner) is free, Google for myriad download sites. Hope it helps.
