You may be looking at a paycut

That's how I see it. Then, you get the phone calls when they hire new staff that doesn't know what to do, and on and on it goes. I'd much rather do my end; whether that means printing on tracing paper, stickies, or letterhead, and be paid for it, then expect others to retrieve documents. I have never been asked to file a report EVER! Once you start having to actually file, then you become an employee and a liability.

My husband also will be taking a paycut
He will now have to contribute for healthcare from every paycheck every 2 weeks. It used to be if he received 3 paychecks in one month, they only took the contribution from 2 and then he'd have the third one as a better paycheck.
Also, my husband works in retail (flooring) and is paid commission. He makes a base salary and receives one commission check every 3rd Friday of the month. He's always in the top 3 for company (they have about 12 stores). They are now talking about paying the commission quarterly and reducing the base pay. The commission will still depend on what he sells but should be more than what he's getting now percentage wise (up to 50% of his sales).
OP - I am feeling your pain. I am now with my nose to the grindstone because I need to have a good January in case this is all implemented and then our budget is out of whack until the company decides to pay this quarterly commission.
I also agree that it is nice to be in a profession where I can actually just take more work with my online company and stay off the message boards. I'm addicted, but I get lonely during the day with the kids in school and him at work, so I hop on here for some moral support in between getting those lines transcribed.
By the way, thanks to all of you here on the board as I do have peace of mind knowing that I am not the only one struggling to get those lines in! You all are a great group! Thanks for being who you are!
Happy Holidays! I pray all have a wonderful and prosperous New Year and to those seeking new jobs with new companies, I hope all goes well.
