at least that is what I got out of reading the AHDI site. They will allow anyone to sit for the CMT. They no longer seem to require (just recommend) 2 years acute care experience. Honestly, I just graduated, and I would skip the RMT and go directly to the CMT. I may do that when I am up to speed with my new job and make enough to pay for it. I've even thought I'd take it "cold" if someone else wanted to foot the bill for my experiment. :)
