You know what?

I so totally agree with you It's always the "what if factor." I have been sole support of my family for a long time now, and I, like countless other ICs, have been run through the mill by totally obnxious clinics, docs, OMs and office staff. Perhaps it's par for the course - part of the package that just comes with the job, because nothing is easy you know, but I told myself a long time ago, NO MORE! I know a rat when I smell one! I've made the changes and rolled with the punches, like them or not.
Yes, at times it's been worse than a hassle getting new accounts and going through the motions and expense (see my earlier post to make that expense a little lighter all you ICs out there!), but I have ALWAYS found that it was the right decision to make and I always felt deep in my heart I didn't deserve the uh-huh that was being dished out to me.
Let's hear more opinions, please. Together -- voicing our fears AND strengths - well, perhaps we can finally put those fears to rest and muster up confidence - to do what we need to do for the betterment ouf ourselves and these poor patients who are so caught up in hap-hazard care when it comes to their transcripts, docs that don't seem to give a huh-uh and medical records staff and OMS that are, and continue to be, out to lunch Reminder: I am NOT saying all clinics are this way!.
Thanks - NEXT??
