either because you are worth it. I hate when employers ask that question and when they leave out the salary scale. Maybe it's just best to put "negotiable" like they do. You don't want to be screened out if you are above the scale. Can you edit your resume? If you apply again they may toss one of the other applications and may not notice the change. You could put something like "amended" on the second one so they will know which one to keep. Best of luck to you.
