you can change "The patient. Reported that" to "The patient reported that" by tapping one or two keys, like L or ;;, as you breeze on by to the next correction. Expander, expander, expander.
The future, Curious, is going to be either editing with some transcription or ASR, or perhaps some combo of those with other functions, so choices with an eye to preparing for that future are either learn editing (sooner the better IMO) or start training for another line of work (also the sooner the better).
