They offered a job. They are not producing the goods. They don't return phone calls and they don't have any policy manuals for employees or contractors.
There is no other way to ask the question. They brought us to this place through their misrepresentation of facts. The fact is they offered work. So why shouldn't they be looked at for unethical work practices? I was looking for a job, they offered one. It's not my responsibility now to go look for another job. They need to reply as to why there is no work.
Questions like this should be taken up with your supervisor instead of a public forum. sm

I replied this morning and was deleted. I asked if you're spending a lot of extra time on the ex
work. If so, I see no reason why you can't charge her by the hour for what you do. It could me maybe $100 a week insted of every 2. I do think that is a rip-off and you're being taken for your generosity.
You not only posted on this forum, but another forum asking for
advice, not once, but at least twice, panic stricken. If you didn't want the advice you shouldn't have asked and you surely shouldn't have come back her bashing people for their advice. with the 9 bedroom homes on the beach are the ones needing help. In fact, most homes are not even 9 bedrooms in Florida. Even the real expensive houses are no more than 3-4 bedrooms. Get your facts straight. I am speaking from NOT being on the beach, in Houston. When hurricane Rita came through, we were flat broke after buying water, etc. When we lost power, we lost all of our food other than what we ate during the first few days. Some of us had to work and could not get out 3-4 days in advance. After that, you couldn't get out, and I live in Houston not on the beach!! I would have had to take 2 cars to get everyone out, which we were willing to do. Did you see the freeways. It was taking 24-48 hours for people to make a 4 hour trip! There were animals, kids and adults who died on the freeway trying to get out. If we would have attempted to leave, we would have still been on the freeway when the storm hit. We felt safer in our home. Thank God it shifted East though. You speak out of ignorance, as do most people who are so hateful. It IS the goverment's job to help every American in need. That is our God give right when we pay money into the goverment. The goverment is there to protect their people, and that is part of it. You cannot pick and choose who is worthy! You have no idea what their situation is. As I said before, you speak from ignorance.

That's why I want my friend mentioned in my above post to go to the TV stations about this and expose it if it is not resolved -- NOT the particular MT in question, but the working conditions that make this kind of mistake possible. This hospital is HUGE, one of the most well-known in the country. I want TV there.

These 2 companies were just awarded all of VISN 7. Not sure exactly where the split is. Look on VA website for hospitals make up VISN 7.

Reminds me of a T shirt I saw that read-- Too many freaks, not enough circuses. I think slippers are the least of your worry. I think people should at least be covered up and not letting everything hang out for public display. If they want to look like that at home, but not in public.

to be asking such a personal question...and if I were the people in question I don't believe I would want my last name on a public website either but that is just me...a little tact might have been nice...
