I am so tired of looking out my front door and seeing some mountains on fire. There were another batch of lightning caused fires near my house yesterday. I want RAIN and not all the nonsense with the wind, lightning, hail, etc. For all of that, we get 3 drops of rain. It's time for me to get out of here.

Fires
We had an extremely wet winter, which means the weeds and brush grew, well, like weeds. Now that the temp is over 100, everything is dried up and looks like straw, making for a giant tinderbox.
Arizona fires
You all have probably seen the horrible Arizona fires on TV. I can see the smoke and flames from my house-- and could be in its path if the wind changes. There is a meeting at the high school tonight regarding fire info. Even though I am SO tired of doing transcription, I would much rather be home doing it than attending a fire meeting-- .
I feel so bad for those who are going through the floods and fires.
It doesn't have to be a huge disaster to reek havoc on someone's life and if you are affected by these disasters, my prayers are with you.
Not just fires. Remember Katrina?
There could be a tornado. Yes, records are sometimes lost but that is NO REASON to send PHI to a stinking place like India or Pakistan or wherever. I could give a rip less whether an MT in India has ANY job or not and certainly not mine.
Fire patrol means putting out FIRES, you dum-dum. LOL

My boss routinely gets drunk during holidays and fires
everyone. She needs a membership to AA so she can get off the beer.
Glad you're both okay! They say X-mas lights are a cause of lots of fires.
Guess I'll keep better watch on mine!
