I take the Relpax even if I get a headache that isn't a migraine, but only after I've had it for awhile and it won't go away. My doc has not yet given me permission to take any kind of OTC meds (and don't know if he ever will). But I try not to take the Relpax unless I really, really need it. It's very expensive, but it works for me. I had tried Imitrex before and then he prescribed the Relpax. He told me that it was new and it worked better for a lot of people that Imitrex didn't help. Yeah, I think it was about three weeks of terrible, constant headaches. But they did go away finally. It will get better, you just have to hang in there.
