I am from NY, too. Out of curiosity, where are you located?

But ... I moved down to TN in 1992, so I'm used to the southern manner of speaking.
I have no trouble whatsoever with southern dictators, but I did laugh my tail off when I applied for a position with Medquist about 5 years ago and they provided a "southern" dictation. The woman sounded like Dolly Parton on helium.
This NYer still has flakes! :) nm
