I mentioned the nursing part of my experience was because my knowledge of A&P, medications, medical terminology, etc., was questioned. I do not assume in any way that being a nurse qualifies me for doing this work WITHOUT my MT training and experience.
Let me tell you, my husband is a registered nurse and has the most horrendous spelling. He tells me all the time he could never do my job. I'm rattling off terminology all the time that he has no clue about. However, he can hit the vein of a dehydrated 99-year-old little lady any day.
