Why is it...

some companies say no IC positions.  In my opinion, there is no difference between IC and employee for online MTs.  Can anyone please explain.  The MT is still paid per line or per report.  If the MT were paid per hour, then I could see the point in working as an employee.  Now, you're talking.  What are your thoughts on this?  Do you feel it is worth it to be employee.  Although, I must say pay for IC at some places is not that great.

  • I prefer IC . . . - Happy IC
  • I didnt "make out well" having to take the taxes out myself. So I prefer employee status. - not enough deductions I guess! n/m
