Why am I getting asked for email confirmation to post on some boards but not all of them? nm

I just sent him a very long email and asked
him to check out this site. Please do the same. What can it hurt. We have gotten no results from sending it to the TV media and pundits. I also asked him to check out this website so he can see for himself what our complaints are.
I would like to post on these boards. Can anyone help?
I am totally confused as to what section of the religion board to post on. There is nothing for general Christianity or perhaps Quaker pursuasion, etc.
I also have no idea what I am, liberal or conservative or what. I liked it better when you could have a real discussion. We exchanged ideas. I know sometimes they got out of hand, but I don't like any of these boards now. They are just plain too confusing now.

You need to post your resume on the job boards. nm
Post your resume on all the various job boards and keep checking the
help wanted ads. There are companies who will hire from posted resumes that don't post jobs. Of course you can be more productive with just one speciality, but it is also extremely boring. If you are happy with your current company and they have other specialities ask them if you can do something else.
Doctors sometimes will post on the state boards, though
usually they don't post, but ask other doctors who they use. If they do post it would most likely be in your local classified ads.
Post spiritual discussion on the Religion boards.

When working from home, whether dealing with clients, MT management, or QA personnel, you can just feel the negative vibes coming off of people over so little. It causes a very stressful environment. Maybe that is where some of the MTs on here develop that attitude, I don't know. The awful insults, comments, and degrading people on here is absolutely unbelievable. Just because you have 15, 20, 30 years of experience in this field, that is no excuse for rudeness. Once you have insulted someone to the point I have seen here, your MT experience means nothing to me, and if I were a management person and knew this about you, you would not work for my company no matter how perfect your MT skills are. This says a great deal about you. Perhaps people in general will write things they would never say to a person face to face. I happen to be a very mature, very experienced MT. I feel like my knowledge should be used to help someone, not degrade them. I hope the MTs who have posted above on this comment will continue to call these people out when they post these horrible comments. Even if you are right (which seems to be the most important thing in the world to them), there is a way of stating facts, opinions, and comments that you have yet to learn in dealing with people even if it is not face to face.

There is NOTHING to post! The boards were trolled for a long time by the lawyers AGAINST MQ, looking
for any lame info in a very unprofessional (not to mention unethical) manner. They used us and left. Now the law suits are in the "discovery process", where both sides are gathering info, where they can then decide whether to proceed forward or not. No news at all for us MTs. Again, the $$-hungry lawyer(s)? were all over this board months back, stirring up the pot, begging us for info, and then VANISHED!

No, we do not set up specific company boards. Posters are allowed to post discussion about MQ here
or on the Company board, just as any other company can.

You are soooo right - the rest of the country hears the hispanic dialects which are multiple in numbers, and many *assume* it's the Cuban dialect....OR some even think all the others are all Mexican (my son-in-law is though and here but he came from California a decade ago)....I also forgot we have Guatemalans and Spanish from Spain directly and so many other countries....it's great because, for the most part, EVERYBODY gets along here.....as your family might also attest to.
I'm originally from NY (30 yrs ago) where the Puerto Rican culture has thrived for 4+ to 5 decades that I know of and through the 80s pretty much everyone up there assumed all Hispanic accents there were mainly from Puerto Rican people/culture...again an incorrect assumption!

for anyone who may be wondering about this in the future. The IN-DB9 will NOT work with Transnet. It must be either the 15-pin with USB adapter or the Dictaphone pedal with adapater (the one that looks like the phone cord).

They can send an email that goes to all MTs in one shot. I think she just means a courtesy email
would be nice. MQ is not getting any easier. My account has been picked over thoroughly when it went on DQS by ASR and I get all the remains because they only have a core group doing ASR which I think is wrong because you get all the bad dictators and it would be nice to be acknowledged that at least you know the person you can discuss problems with as they crop up. This is a big one and we have no manager anymore and no one to discuss this with at all in my office so you just sit here very day doing this work and no way to vent to someone that could offer some suggestions on this and other issues that come up to help relieve some of the stress of working this way.

Could someone tell me how to post a message and then have someone reply by email instead of just "Post Reply." I'm pretty new to this "chat" board. But I WOULD like to say it is VERY informative and helpful. Too bad some of the companies we work for aren't as helpful as one MT is to another MT. We'd have it made!!
Again, because you entered your email address, you CAN receive email from anyone, but THEY
e-mail address because it is not revealed when they send mail because we have spam protection in place. The only way they would know what your email address is, is if you reply to the email they send you. If you don't want to receive any email from anyone, simply do not enter your email address in the Email field.

visible to anyone. The only way your employer would know it is you is 1) if you respond when someone emails you, or 2) they recognize the way you write.

Don't they realize that they are taking jobs away from us and probably doing something illegal, to boot? I sent the email to the authorities this morning after reading it. T'd me off!
