I am just curious what everyone is having for lunch or dinner.  Need some ideas on what to cook.

I was privileged to be a guest at the first night of Hanukkah last year, and we had latkes and doughnuts, it was all about the oil.

For the life of me I can't remember what we had the second night.

I was in the Bay Area of SF and I'll swear all I did was eat the whole time I was there. And it was all wonderful. My friend is the best cook I've ever seen.

We are having pasta with steamed veggies and parmesan cheese, salad, garlic bread.  Vanilla ice cream with fresh strawberries for dessert.  MMMMM

Kids visited friends and got fed. Hubby works the night shift and wasn't hungry. He said he'd make something for himself later. I made myself a sandwich.

Doesn't get any better than this!

TV on for me. I can't do music though. Its usually the food channel or the news channel.  Volume  is where I can hear it but low. 

I am looking for this reference book that I used to use as an in-house Transcriptionist many mooons ago. I can't remember what it was but it wasn't Stedmans... I was thinking Drake, Tessier, or even HPI but I know it wasn't Stedmans.

Anyway, it would allow you to look up the word "needle" and then underneath have a huge listing of all of the different types... or you could look up "retractor" and it would list all the different kinds. It was INCREDIBLY thorough. I want to say it had a green cover but can't be positive.

Does anyone have any ideas? This book was so helpful in-house, I really want it to have at home too! Thanks!!

I do believe we had the same PS and WFC... when you talk about dropped letters LOL.

I don't care if they aren't typists..they certainly get paid more than me and should be way more professional. I certainly wouldn't get a job as anything if I sent a resume like that. They are supposed to set an example.. they are our *bosses*.

Im getting a new foot pedal, I need a heavy duty one cause this last one is about to give way.

Even when its not asked for.  Maybe some people like to surround themselves with nonsense and chaos, where as I like peace and quiet!  I think people who like working with other people are either pretending or just plain crazy! 

Everyone is gone!  I've had a chicken sandwich and I'm getting my weekend work done so I can have some time off when everyone is home.
