What will they do when we all go away?

Voice recognition is nipping at our heels and I am looking for another profession until retirement. I'll find one, I'm sure. But I'm just wondering if the have thought about what they will do when we all go away and there is nobody to edit for them? Send offshore? Yes, perhaps. But they will still need editors to fix the mess that is made by those people. I don't know if there is anyone else out there who remembers back in the 70s when they weren't paying enough for medical transcription. We all found other work and they began begging for us to come back and raised our pay substantially. I predict something like this is going to happen to these smarties who think they can compromise us by making us editors and paying us peanuts again. Just my $.02 worth.
