I can't remember for sure but I don't recall cooking beets out of a can. Instructions say to microwave. Seems I remember just putting in vinegar. Can't remember if I added anything else like sugar or anything. I don't like them and don't buy them often. I'm fixing them for my son who loves them. Any suggestions? Thanks.
