If reasonable precautions are taken, there is no greater risk of anyone knowing what I'm transcribing in a corner of the library or Starbucks than there is of family members knowing what I'm transcribing. Or do you have a hermetically sealed timer-controlled bunker that isolates you from the world when you transcribe?
