I got hooked on AI 2 seasons ago. Taylor is my favorite--I just enjoy watching him so much. Chris is really talented. Of the girls my favorites are Paris and Mandesa. I look forward to tonight. Hope none of my favs get voted off.

I really like this show because you get to see people compete with their creativity and hard work. Some of the other reality TV is just backbiting and lying to win. This show is different because the winner will be rewarded for their actual designs and talent, of course when it got down to Tym, Alice and David, it's really hard to pick a winner. All of their rooms looked great to me. I kind of favor Alice, though. We'll see what happens when the viewers vote next week.

Help please...typing in Word, hooked up my
C-phone and plugged in my foot pedal. Got the message from computer that foot pedal was detected, but it doesn't control the dictation at all. I haven't used a C-phone in years, and I've never actually set one up. Dictation will work using commands on the C-phone but my foot pedal doesn't work. Is there something I need to do to hook it up to the C-phone? I've been searching for an answer, and I'll keep looking, but I was really hoping someone on here would know. I'd appreciate any and all help please:-)

Several companies still train on site. In fact, we are piloting an on-site training sm
program, where everyone would come in to the Keystrokes office to train for 1 or 2 weeks. We have a large training room and feel that this may be a way to cover all aspects of an account, be right there to answer questions as they come up and have one-on-one contact.
It will be optional at this point and may not be more effective as remote training, but some people have expressed that they miss the training that you get when you start at a hospital.
We are trying to bridge that gap between working in-house somewhere and working at home.
It may seem out-dated in many ways, but sometimes going back to basics is a good step to take!

I always wondered how that works, and how one winds up in Judge Judy's court room? Do they know beforehand or is it like a surprise when they show up at court??? :)

He filed a claim in Small Claims Court in the state where he was living. Apparently the staff of these shows watch the dockets and pick ones they think will make a good show because he got a call from Judge Joe Brown's staff who wanted him to be on that show and the next day got a call from Judge Judy's staff who wanted him to be on her show. He chose Judge Judy because he would not have to travel as far to go to her show. It was all very interesting. He did not think so at the time he was going through it - it was very stressful for him - but in the end he was happy with the outcome and glad he did it.
The point of it is that the show is "arbitration", it is not an actual court of law. He had to sign papers saying that he accepted the "arbitration" and if he did not like the outcome he gave up his right to recourse in a court of law. He chose that route because he felt that if he took it to court, though he probably would get a judgment against the defendant, he would still have to collect. But with JJ, the show paid the judgment and he got a check for the whole amount, tax free, plus $500 for showing up on the show, within 7 to 10 days.
WOW! Now that's really really cool! lol
One more question, does the defendant then have to pay the court??? I just find this so interesting :)

It's Cool.
Not the best, not the worst. Very easy to set up and use. You may need to fiddle with the settings for speeding up and slowing down dictation, but that's not hard to do. I'm available if you need help! I used it all through school and did just fine with it.
