I'm an IC and unfortunately have a large group of docs, two of whom are ESL and one who dictates past warp speed. The docs who dictate reasonably get an accurate document back. The three noted above who dictate half *** get a half *** document back filled with blanks. I don't feel the least bit bad about it either. I'm an MT, NOT a magician. They don't want to take the time to dictate properly and clearly because they're in a big hurry. Well, guess what? I'm in a big hurry, too and don't have time for foolishness. I also don't have time to spend all day long (and making less than minimum wage, too) trying to figure out what in the **** they're saying. Garbage in - Garbage out! That's the way it is.
