well, bully for you..............sm
Pplenty of the ones who are here now who are illegal are definitely trying to get legal, like some Argentinians whose ancesteror are from Czeckoslovakia. I'm in Florida so we have a multienthnicity here - EXACTLY like NY, and the ones here work FAR harder than most Americans I know (for some reason there are so many AmeriCAN'Ts in this country) - I, for one, am an AmeriCAN!!
I'm *against Caucasians*? Those were your words. You don't know me. You don't know anything about me. What a presumptious witch/warlock.
What a laugh. I AM Caucasian with european ancestry and my grandparents came here via Ellis Island too - so many before you (and the rest of the Czechoslovakians) came through Ellis....you have NOT cornered the market on Ellis Island. My family has been a member there since the memberships and foundation began!!
Hopefully Bush is going to pass the NO MASS DEPORTATION law and Monday, by the way, is a mass protest to show the USA exactly what WOULD happen economically (when all of them do not go to work for a day) in the USA if all the illegals decided to NOT go to work and/or leave the country.
*rubs hands together in anticipation of Monday, at least in the SE USA*........
Ebay bully
I received an email from someone saying they were going to report me to ebay if I didn't send the package immediately. I sent it on to Ebay and said sorry but I do not sell anything on Ebay, only buy at this point.
Have you heard about the Ebay Bully
It was in the news yesterday. The guy is still selling some stuff at ebay and he is harrasing the buyers. Thank goodness I've never encountered one, but... just curious, is anyone out there been a victim of bully in ebay?
I smell a rat - I mean bully. Same thing.:)
OP,
I agree with Katz. No need to use profanity however. Don't risk your dignity and self-respect by stooping to her level. Yet, I agree with everything else, like telling her to shut up in a nice way -- let her know you are working and you suggest she does the same. She feels threatened obviously, so don't make it easy for her by quitting which is probably what she wants. I don't think the boss wants you to quit, however. It sounds like she just wants to skip out on the pay increase and manipulate the situation to her benefit (according to what you have said so far).
As for Ms. Obnoxious, sounds like she has figured out the only one she needs to get along with is the boss. And if she can get you to leave, then more work and job security for her. It's an awful mess of a situation you are in. I don't tolerate bullies and neither should you, and that is exactly what she sounds like -- a bully. You will have to give her the silent treatment instead of her giving you the silent treatment and even if she does give you the silent treatment, good. It doesn't sound like she has anything worthy to say anyway. In the meantime, if you want to be there for any reason -- to pay off a debt, to go back to school, to gain more experience before leaving, etc. -- then stay as long as you want. When you are ready, find the new job, test it out, then make the switch at your own pace. With your typing speed, I don't doubt you will be able to find something better. Just don't make it easy for anyone by quitting.
You are all that matters, especially on a job. Workers are not your friend. You have to find that outside of the workplace. I don't think talking to either one of them is worth anything. They already know they are in the wrong.
Best of luck to you.
me
yeah..networking on who she can bully the most.
making herself look better only to herself. there is *bluntness* and then there is *bully*. and being just plain mean just because they *don't have time* to be nice.
calling it like it is does not make me a bully
It makes me a realist with enough courage to speak the truth. Ask anyone in management, anyone responsible for the end product or bottom line, whether it is in MT or any other field, and you will hear the same thing. When a person does not care about what they are doing and they do not take measures to change their situation, they are causing the damage to themselves. Ask any mental health caregiver and you will hear the same thing. When it becomes uncomfortable enough, you will do something different. If you don't, then you must accept the responsibility for your own unhappiness.
I am not blind to the fact that there are misuses by QA people, no more than with MTs who want to whine about being picked on righteously or wrongly. What i do say is this: If you do not care about what you do, change your situation. I can sugarcoat that or say it blunty, but the meaning is unaltered. You can agree or disagree and still it does not change the message. If you don't like it, do something about it (and this part I added because I just like it) stop whining about it. The rest of us have more important issues in life to be concerned about.
Not heartless...just a bully who likes to kick sand
Please....there is no justification for your behavior, don't try to come here and defend your disgusting behavior. This woman is crying out for real help...not some quick, off the cuff, hurtful remark. I feel sorry for you.
I've been a bully; I've been bullied.
I used to sell a lot on eBay. There are some people who buy high-priced items and play games with you. I've had to call them repeatedly, report them to different agencies. It's not fun. You put time and money into the business of selling, and there are people out there who live to manipulate the system and cause trouble.
And, I've been bullied by buyers who made unreasonable demands, insist that they pay by check when you clearly state you don't accept them. It's not fun, and is one of the reasons I don't sell anymore. People!
I've also bought from some sellers who I would not deal with again because of their unprofessional attitude.
But, overall, ebay can be a great place to be.
