Guess where the call was answered? India. Chase, just like all the other wonderful companies in the U.S., has telephone operators in India fielding the calls. She did nothing - told me it was a fraud, etc., and to ignore the emails. I get 3-4 of these every day. Now I'm deleting them. However, I informed the Indian representative answering Chase's calls that this is one bank I will NEVER bank with, due to offshoring! Off my soapbox now... I think!
I was called a couple days ago
The guy that called asked if I had received the letter about the new pay plan. I said yes I did. He said I would be receiving an information packet the first part of October and if I had any questions, a phone number would be included in the packet and I could call them. I asked him to explain the new pay plan to me to which he told me he was not at liberty to discuss it at this time.
I wonder why it's such a secret. 
Pay it by Feb 28th so it won't be reported as 30 days late..also (sm)
If you have a 401K they will let you withdraw from that with no penaltys on the 401K

I think in some cases I have seen the bitter end by that point. I have quit in the first month or two three times. By then the empty promises start coming out, if they are empty that is.

 That is a really nice and encouraging reply. After this last week I need to take a couple of breaths and re-boot next Monday. I'm not going to give up but I'm not going to fall apart over it either. Yes I hate this job (the manager makes Satan look like a pussycat and she's been here 40 years and has doctor-like power, so if she says I dont' get sundays off ever, ever, ever inspite of hospital policy, my unhappiness and repeated requests, I dont;' get Sunday's off) and I have let my line count slide down to 600 for an 8 hour shift in protest. (The incentive sucks). But I also promised my sons I would not quit til I had another job so I am stuck.
Is that EMT Jack that was on a couple of days ago?

Give the pred a couple of days, although
pred can also cause leg weakness. Possibly anesthesia effect or effects of positioning. I wouldn't think too likely but if lipoma was deep possibly some nerve damage. You could also try some massage. Hope she/he is better tomorrow.

I posted a couple days ago about my contract negotiations with a hospital. SM
Now, we have negotiated 12 cpl and that I only need to deliver work three times a week. We've also decided that radiology will be a whole separate contract and that next week I will do a sample of dictation to see if the dictators are going to be difficult. And then the negotiations start again.
How am I doing so far?
I called HR and I did not know you had to follow up with a written complaint. Is there an email
address for written complaints at MQ. The HR person sounded all disgusted and I am sure she has been getting tons of calls.

Got one too and knew it was a hoax because I have no Chase card.
When you don't have a card, you know it's a hoax.
I have 2 middle age couple friends. One couple became pregnant from condom failure.
This is not just "irresponsible" behavior! Both couples are "fixed" now, because for them, reliable birth control was NOT. But it's an error to assume this stuff happens to people who are unmarried or irresponsible. Both these couples are raising 2nd families, now, but it wasn't "irresponsibility" that did them in!
Someone should have reported him.

I wear wrist bands made by Chase Ergonomics, Inc. (sm)
They were given to me from a friend. He got them from work. I also wear a Smart Glove at night. It has a brace on the top of the glove and beaded cushioning on the palm.
I also have a kinesis keyboard but haven't used it much yet. Too busy working to practice with it.
You can probably find all the above on ebay. That's where I found both the gloves and the keyboard.

2000 low days, 4000 busy days
Did 43,000 lines last month. 6 doctors.
You can "make a living" if you work 16-hr days, 7 days
and if you rarely buy anything but food and the barest essentials in clothing. My balancing act is so precarious that all it'll take is one of life's little disasters (rent increase, sick pet, major car repair) to pull the rug out from under me. Not a good feeling at all.
They can send an email that goes to all MTs in one shot. I think she just means a courtesy email
would be nice. MQ is not getting any easier. My account has been picked over thoroughly when it went on DQS by ASR and I get all the remains because they only have a core group doing ASR which I think is wrong because you get all the bad dictators and it would be nice to be acknowledged that at least you know the person you can discuss problems with as they crop up. This is a big one and we have no manager anymore and no one to discuss this with at all in my office so you just sit here very day doing this work and no way to vent to someone that could offer some suggestions on this and other issues that come up to help relieve some of the stress of working this way.
