I live in a community with about 100 homes. We've started a "Hurricane Aid Drive" yesterday to help those poor people. We plan on donating money to the Red Cross, as well as clothing, toiletries, canned food, bottled water, over the counter medications, diapers, infant formula and bottles, and whatever else we can think of. I live on the East coast of Florida and went through two hurricanes last year. These were mild compared to Katrina, and almost a year later many of us are still not back to normal. This Hurricane Aid Drive has already spread to neighboring communities. Please pass this on to everyone you know. My heart breaks when I think of the devastating aftermath of this storm.
