Vann Joe?

I read your commentary on the new Vista OS.  Unfortunately, my computer is about to go kaput and I'm having no luck finding a new one without Vista already installed.  I no longer use MPWord though I do still have it installed, but rather just use my MS Word program.  I also use a GearPlayer.  Any idea how those will be affected?
