Do you mean VR editing or using a VR program to transcribe? If you mean the latter, I can tell you that I have been using Dragon Naturally Speaking Medical Suite to transcribe for about 6 years. The technology is so good now that I can easily do 1500 lines in 5-6 hours depending on the dictator and I get about 98% recognition on most reports. I just got the latest upgrade and it took about 15 minutes to train it. I have severe DeQuervain and if I didn't have Dragonspeak I would have had to give up doing transcription years ago. Dragonspeak isn't cheap, but it has been more than worth it to me. Although I purchased it myself, I know of people who have been able to get it paid for by their state's voc rehab department. I have also edited VR and overall I can make more transcribing.
