Well, I have experience with 2. An orthopedic surgery center used VR, doctors talked, it typed it out. No transcriptionists in the entire surgery center, which was a fairly big center. Second, when I took my daughter to the clinic to see her physician, they used point and click, and the nurse typed in a couple of sentences. I have decided to go back to school now, don't want to wait until it's too late. I don't think I could make decent money as an editor. I already transcribe the reports with the speed set as fast as it will go. As I said above, that's not my only reason for going back to school, but it is a big part of it. Good luck in whatever you decide to go. I would read through this and the company board to see others experiences with VR, and then decide what is best for you.
