ridiculous blanket statement about defensive
so not true - where DO you get your information from that defensive people make lots of errors....hmmmm? Are you one of those psychobabble psychologists?
I think the warming blanket excellent idea
Bought one for my bed and it is plumb yummy! I turn it on when I enter my bedroom for the night, letting it warm some and by the time I get in the bed my bed is toasty warm. I stay so cold always, run lower temps than most because of a thyroid problem. I have a space heater in my workroom that I keep on lots during the winter but that electric (half size) blanket is tops!
Tired of blanket nonproductive e-mails that chew out everyone but are really only meant for a (SM)
for a few individuals. These are so discouraging for the ones who are doing a good job. Supervisors are not so important that they can't take the time to change the e-mail address so the letter is sent to only those who are messing up - and, conversely, if you can't take the time to figure out who is messing up, then you won't take the time to find out who is doing a good job, so you will never give a raise.
Yes - my letter is perfect example of sending an e-mail to every supervisor and MTSO. See how ineffective it is? Makes you feel very defensive if you are not guilty of doing this. Imagine how it makes me feel when I get these notes after working 10-12 hours to try to help you get caught up, and then you send out a note that basically says how lazy we all are. Thanks a lot. There are a lot better companies out there than you, and even a few who might appreciate high quality and high quantity work.
I wish you would not make a blanket statement about things you don't understand about taxes sm
When you are an employee and you are financially responsible for your office, the heat, the electricity, the space in your house, your deductions are nearly identical.
I'll give you this though: ICs frequently make a higher line rate than an employee, at least initially. So many employers are freezing cpl increases in favor of production incentives. My company did this and the incentives are excellent. I have gotten to where my line rate with the incentives is actually higher than any IC position I have ever held. I am going to do that many lines anyway and I am well ahead on all fronts.
heating
Now why didn't I think of that? Thanks!
Good thinking Wise MT about the blanket. I use fingerless gloves for the hands. NM. Thank you for
Heating bill
I just got socked with an over $500 bill for a fill of propane
I keep a rolled up heating pad sm
on my lower back and it takes care of those pains you are speaking of. My legs also get cold, even with long pants on, so the heating pad helps to warm them up. I usually keep it on for 2 hours then turn it off for an hour, and then back on. It really helps.
Don't know what it is. :( Can you rest them on a heating pad in your lap before and while
s
also heating up, utilities up, pay has not gone up...in fact
I am tired of being told I have to sacrifice for the good of the someone else, whether it is for a rich, fat corporation, or the government, whoever. why do I have to sacrifice - I already live at poverty level because my wages are the same from 10 years ago, and my cost of living has over doubled in those same 10 years...
You could do what I do and put a heating pad on low over your feet as you pedal.

Anyone getting socked by heating bill yet?
My latest was $88 - hmm...I've almost never had my heat going since I use space heaters. Hmm...odd.
I keep a heating pad on my lap and rest my hands on it when I'm in between reports
and it's been working great!
I put a heating pad in front of my pedal on low. Socks don't work 4 me.

No shoes, barefoot in summer, heating pad on low in front of foot pedal

How are you planning to deal with the oncoming high winter heating bills?
I'll be bumping the thermostat back another degree or 2, down to whatever leveI I can not be cold at. Otherwise there will be less "fun" money spent if it has to go to the oil companies!
