Unfortunately we all go through this

But I believe it is breaking you down. I have been in this field for over 26 years, and it still goes on. There are a lot of intelligent people in this field, but unfortunately, a lot of egos in management and QA. Seems like you already have PTSD for being fired before. Please hold onto your self-esteem. When you say that you never lied on your resume and they know who you are and you try your best, listen to yourself. You are right. They know that. Make sure to do reality check every day. They are playing with you to keep you down, so that you will bend to the QA or management.
When I was in this about 6 years, I would get reams of feedback in the mail every other day (no fax machine and it was when we were just modeming work). I hated to get the mail and wanted to quit. Yet, I was the best MT and they were sorry when I left. But I could not take it. The head QA just did not like the fact that I did 200 minutes rerecord and stats and never complained. Funny thing, I'd take the feedback to heart, change the commas and hyphens, and next week I'd get dinged on those by the same person.
Finally, I woke up and smelled the coffee. Even in those days MT jobs were hard to find because you had to "know" someone at the hospital or good place to work. Even when I did work for a hospital for years, whenever a new boss or a new QA person came in, we had to be "broken" down. We worked at home, but compared notes by e mail because we knew each other from the on-site meetings, so we knew we were each going through it no matter what year of experience we had. Our head lead once even had me called down for not liking the "tone of my voice" on a message when I was kindly pointing an inconsistency in her QA.
I learned the hard way, to delete the e mails, do the best I can by taking the QA comments constructively, and doing what they say while documenting their inconsitencies quietly in case I am ever asked.
If you want to stay, don't be afraid you are no good and will be fired. Just keep your observations to yourself, and get into the dictations. Think about who you are serving the patient, and you and your little child who you are working to put bread on the table. Then, at the end of the day walk away from it and forget the pettiness. It isn't you. And BTW, no matter where you go this will happen, no matter what job not just Mting. And on this board, it is here too. Ego problems. Reality check, look at your child and know you are who you are and good at it! Sorry so long just had to get this off my chest. Hang in and just thrive and do well!
