It is business as usual and the client does not care about you. This may sound harsh, but it is the truth. Business is business. Do not take it personal and learn where your loyalty should lie, which is with yourself.

I have been in this situation and learned from it. Make sure you have a signed legal contract for all clients. Be smart and look after yourself. Nothing lasts forever and clients may come and go; although some stay around a little longer than others. The bottom line to them is the penny. If they think they can save 1 cent per line, they will try it, regardless of your high quality, TAT, etc.

Sorry for your misfortune, but be wise and remember it is a business partnership and take your emotions out of your business relationships. Not everyone is as thoughtful, courteous or as loyal as yourself.
