Multiple years with them. They do have employee status with benefits, but they have very strange QA policies, trying to cut back on Keystrokes (such as no numbers EVER spelled out and no periods behind initials, i.e. M.D., A.R.N.P., C. diff., etc.), and I would almost SWEAR they have altered their line count system to reflect more than 65 characters per line. Headers and demographics entered are not counted (even if they say they are). I am making less now than I was years ago when I started with them...and it is not because of lack of work. Oh yeah...the help desk is now and always has been in INDIA. So, this entire company will probably end up as an overseas MT employer. NO OVERTIME PAY....but definitely expected to work it! Required weekends and holidays. No real holiday pay - instead, PTO on another day to compensate (if scheduled within 30 days of holiday). No automatic deposit. Twice a month pay. Have actually been told in the past that I could take a vacation, even 3 months in advance! But...there is plenty of work - or, at least there is on my multihospital feed account. I probably work 60+ hours a week and made about 24K last year, with 20+ years experience and constant 98% and above QA! :(
