I buy them in good shape and freeze them anyhow and when I feel like having one, I eat them frozen. They are sweater and just like eating banana ice cream. The heck with baking. I freeze grapes too, very refreshing in the summer.
Frozen bananas
For the smoothies, I peel mine first and put them in the tupperware containers and then when I'm making my smoothie,just drop them in. I don't think they would work with the peel on. How could you get it off once it is frozen?
