There are out-and-out lies in this post that you should be ashamed of. I am a long-time employee of Spheris and I have never been abused, underpaid, or "forced" to do anything. I have always been treated fairly, with respect, and have always had plenty of work to do. Not once in the near-decade I have worked there have I ran out of work. I have made at least $50,000 per year since I began work there, and if that's not good enough money for you, then maybe you should find a rich man to marry! Spheris has never hidden the fact that they employee Indian workers, and I know for a fact that potential new customers are asked up front if they will allow Indian MTs to work on their account or not. If the answer is no, the account is considered US-only and no Indian MTs work on that acount. If the customer does not mind, then the account may be shared between US and India, or may be assigned to all Indian MTs, depending on the difficulty of the account. In my opinion, this is a perfectly fair way to do business. I do not understand why everyone gets so upset, considering that there are not enough MTs in this country to do all the work that is available. Why not help people who are in need of financial assistance by offering them a way to be self-sufficient? Shame on you for telling lies about a good company, and shame on the lot of you for being angry with a country full of poor people who are trying to do better for themselves.
