This is nothing new.

What everyone fails to realize is that all areas are being effective, but it seems like the service industries are getting the more attention now.

Think about the power that you have sitting on top of your desk right now. You could conceivable do you own business advertising. You can make your own business cards and brochures using the digital pictures you take and touch up with something as simple as Picasa.

What you need to realize is that it's up to the individual to figure out how they're going to adapt to what is happening. You're not going to stop the change.

Remember your high school history lessons? It used to be that the churches ruled; monarchies were legislating the morality that the churches preached. Then those crazy pilgrims and others came here for "religious freedom" and democracy was born.

Now, we're witnessing the downfall of democracy as we know it and seeing it replaced with financial rule--the dollar or yen or whever is now in charge. Trying to get the government to stop this is like trying to hold water in a sieve. They don't have the power to stop this.
