You could go work fulltime in an office for how much?  $7-10 per hour, depending on your experience, right?  Let's figure $10 per hour just for fun.  You would work 40 hours per week, so that would give you a weekly income of $400 per week gross.  Take off $125 a week for daycare for your child, so we're down to $275 per week.  You're still going to pay taxes no matter where you work, so we won't take those out.  Are there any required insurances, donations or other deductions from your paycheck working outside the home?  Take those out.  Now take out lunches, gasoline, vehicle maintenance, birthday or coffee funds, vending machine snacks, business attire clothing, parking, and all those other stupid costs to work outside the home.  How much do you have left?  Not a lot, right?  It hardly seems worth it to miss out on so much of your child's life.  At least if you're home and he has to play by himself for a couple of hours per day or you have to work around his sleep schedule, you'll still get the hugs and kisses and see his developmental milestones.  Now stop worrying about it.  You'll get faster.  You'll be making more money in less time.  You can do it.
