different than an abused child. I think the owners should be put to sleep with them, personally. And I do not mean owners who actually care for their dogs, but people who breed them and sale them to people who fight them...things like the big sting here in Houston. The sad thing is, all of those dogs will have to be put down. The chances of any of them being socialized as pets are slim to none. It disgusts me. They finally made it a felony charge for abusing animals. What people should try to do is get our justice system to crack down harder on these people and actually fully pursue charges and sentences. Banning pit bulls is not the answer to a much bigger problem.
I have some stories, sick stories, to tell about what these people do when training these dogs, not to mention the crime ring that is usually involved with people like this. Also, it is well known any person with no regard for an animal usually has no regard for human life as well.

That's pretty vicious
I can understand being frustrated - been there, done that. But there are plenty of American-born docs who are sloppy, hard-to-understand dictators as well.
The best doctor I ever transcribed for - well-educated, precise, grammatically correct, enunciated beautifully - was born in Venezuela. He had barely a trace of an accent. And his grammar was a hundred times better than the new - American-born - doctors just getting out of their residency.
To make such a sweeping statement about a group of people based simply on whether they were born in this country or not is bigotry, plain and simple.
5 dogs - Lulu, Spike, Buck, Bounce - lovable mutts
I love 'em all!
Stop with the vicious personal attacks. (SM)
Control the inflammatory remarks. This is not your own personal war zone. Take your confrontations elsewhere.
