There are only five states voting in primary elections today--sm

Wisconsin, where I am at, is one of them. check the internet to see if your state is included. this is a *primary* election, meaning we are voting to NOMINATE candidates for senate, congress, govenor, etc. We are not voting these people into office, just nominating them for election.

I have heard the Chris and Elliott fans are going to boycott voting for their other favs just to prove a point. So Ryan can't go on and BRAG about the high votes.
I don't think Clive will be bragging about how many "units" are sold by any of the season 5 finalists, except possibly Chris.
who are you voting for? (nm)

VOTING FOR US
Okay, I voted for us. My daughter is voting for us because she is one of us too. She is sending this link to her huge website for us because several of her friends their have had their husbands recently lose jobs that were outsourced. They are not happy, have to relocate to other states, and are living on what they thought was their retirement money! Some of them were only five years from retirement and have had to sell their homes. They will be happy to help us win, we are sure.
voting for her is voting for HIM--sm
come on! What makes you think that her being president would be any different than when HE was president? This is HIS campainge, not hers. That old saying about repeatedly doing the same things and expecting different results applies here. just my opinion. At this point in time, I don't like ANY of the so-called candidates. I don't feel that any of them have the people of this great nation in their forefront minds. All they see is the pension for life they will get once they are voted out in another 4 years. It is all about money and nothing else. What a shame.
We all know who YOU'RE voting for
PERFECT REPUBLICAN TALKING POINTS.
Sorry, voting doesn't start until Tues.
Thanks everyone
Y-City Star-VOTING OPEN
Ok guys, I am already behind. THE VOTING IS NOW OPEN.!!!!!
www.zanesvilletimesrecorder.com They don't have the actual audition clips up yet so you won't be able to hear me...
thanks bunches,
Theresa Asire
Thanks. Primary use will be for gas, though we don't
trade with Shell.
I don't need it for my primary
account either, just my backup. I did not think about using a phone card. Maybe that would work better for me. I am already paying almost $50 a month for regular phone service. That is why I was thinking the $50 a month through Time Warner might be better. I definitely need more than 2 phones, between my C-phone and a phone for both upstairs and downstairs.
Thanks for the info!
primary..secondary
I agree 100%. I was on a great hospital with MQ but they kept calling me to work in my secondary which is one of the worst hospitals I have ever transcribed, IMHO, over 36 years. I frankly got tired of the every day call to work in my secondary so I focused on my secondary, mastered the hard doctors and now my secondary is my primary, a hospital which most dont want to transcribe..so usually there is lots of work and bonuses too..guess **I won**, hun?
primary and secondary
If you want to have a primary and a secondary, Cornerstone has it. I am the QA supervisor and we are looking for ESL typists for a primary with one secondary. Check out the ad posted in the job section either today or yesterday.
My primary account allows
2 blanks to go right to the client. I rarely send to QA; in fact, just looked up on my email and I've sent 4 reports to QA in July.
I do about 50 jobs a day.
sounds like my primary...when they first did this,
I emailed my supe and suggested we just type the whole thing in the demo so they did not have to pay us at all...
Did I say primary? Oops. nm.
About 5-6 hours on my primary, but
secondaries slow me down to longer than 8 hours.
Primary question is SM
why didn't the internships work out? What was your quality score (you should have been reviewed at regular intervals)?
My primary account is in New Orleans
They aren't dictating. They don't need transcription help. I need work, but I'm not whining. At least I have a dry home!!!
Unless you are the primary record-keeper sm
You should dispose of all of them. My rule of thumb for files that I keep on my computer is two weeks. I send them in daily to the clinic, but I do keep mine for two weeks as backup in case for some reason theirs get lost.
You need to dispose of them so that the information can no longer be extracted. I remember a long time ago we had a magnet we would run tapes and/or disks through which would wipe the data. I don't know if those still exist, or how well they actually work.
You might get in touch with the MTSO or clinic or whoever the information originally belonged to and find out how they dispose of their sensitive material.
My primary is oncology and hematology
and I have tons of Expanders and macros. I also have to go off of a handwritten schedule that is faxed and cross them off as I go and obtain DOB, MRN and doctor names to place in the document.
Actually being on the same account for four months I would take as consistent primary! nm
:)
Familiar with primary/secondary insurance?sm
My son is currently covered under my husband's (his stepfather) policy. His father and I have talked about changing him to his insurance come open enrollment time later this year because his coverage is now much better than ours. I am considering actually leaving him on my husband's insurance too though, in the hopes that primary/secondary coverage will leave less out of pocket expenses...because it costs us no more or less with him on our policy anyway (same family rate regardless of the number of children covered).
My question is this.....if our policy has a huge deductible then pays at 80/20...and if he was also covered by his father's policy that utilizes office copays...how would that pay? Would his father's policy still not kick in and pay anything until we met the deductible on the primary policy? If so that's pointless...but I don't see the secondary insurance company wanting to pick up all the expenses that the primary won't. Anyone familiar with this situation that has any suggestions? Would be greatly appreciated...very confused. LOL Thanks!
Actually being on the same acct for four years would be considered a consistent primary.

If insurance is your primary concern, then Trans Tech may not be an option for you.
The family insurance is horrid, over $1200 a month I believe, and the single coverage would have cost me $300 a month. I had to pass on the job due to this. I would be working just for the insurance.
HELP with Shorthand. Suddenly today when I tried to start work today.sm
my ShortHand would type only the first letter of an expansion and then take all the letters away! I checked and the Type It button is grayed out! I have restarted the computer and looked on the Shorthand Help menu but can find nothing that applies. Can anyone please help me ASAP? I am lost without it! TIA
Perhaps you are right. This one is dated today. The original article was on Yahoo today also with
But this article states it would only affect new customers right now. So I am upset over nothing. I went through heck with BellSouth when they charged me a surcharge of an extra 50 a month and then would write a letter saying I had to switch to a long distance service and pay by the minute because of my "excessive" use. They told me the unlimited charge was for an average of an hour a day not somebody who worked out of their home and I needed to switch a business plan at over 200 a month charge. I switched over to cable because of that and then to read that cable was going to charging on a per use fee and not a flat monthly fee it upset me. It is the nature of our work, VR, only paying for VBC, having headers and footers taken away, now being charged for being on line, etc. It just seems that everything is done to keep to insure less money.
Also they have to pay to set up new states
So they might not want to hire from states not set up in already.
Indeed it does, as the letter clearly states
it was a DEP error
It clearly states in the message that they
regarding the status of the job.
document where the IRS states this please? nm

she states below that she did try in the past sm
to bring on another IC but they were resistant to the idea.
She has already tried doing what you suggest, to no avail.
I have been in this situation as well, and while it is very true that we are, in essence, vendors to our clients, there are offices that are truly difficult to work with.
It is a good idea to consider taking an employee position in this case, I agree, but please know that she's already tried addressing the issue in the way you suggest. :-)
Some *states*. YIKES!
.
Working in 2 different states. sm
I know a MQMT who does this. I don't know the particulars, but she's literally on opposite ends of the map at different times. It seems to me that there should be no problem doing this. Of course, time zones, etc. may vary, but things like that should be easily resolved.
Have fun, whatever you decide!
I work for a hospital 6 states away. SM
I have a physician list and I have a website to look for other doctors. But how can they expect me to know how to spell patients' names? They can't. I have a disclaimer at the top of my log sheet that says common or phonetic spellings will be used where patient name spellings are not provided.
That was the thing that held me up when I worked "live" from home for a hospital. All that diddling around finding out whether it was "Kathy" or "Cathy" -- I don't do that any longer and you're right, it makes a HUGE difference.
4 states are taking refugees
The governor of Louisiana has asked four states to take refugees: Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma, and Utah. I know Utah is scheduled to take 1000, starting to be flown in today (call the governor's hotline at 866-873-2437 if you live in UT and want to help), but I don't know about the others. I would imaging they're taking more since they're closer. This is being coordinated through FEMA, but the governor's offices of those other states probably would be of more direct help. If you don't live in one of those states you could try to contact FEMA, but I imagine they're swamped right now.
I agree with most of this, but in most states you can't lock him out. sm
I agree you should get away from him, especially if there are kids involved, but in most states you're not allowed to lock him out of the house. It's his residence, too, and the police and judges will tell you that he has just as much right to be there as you do. Please be sure to check with a lawyer or with the local police before trying to lock him out of the house.
the post clearly states "replace" so you
Within 5 years, I think most if not all hospitals will be on ASR, and our final destinations as MTs will be editors. Until they decide they do not need these formatted reports altogether.
In most states, if not all, it is illegal for a company
to charge you up-front for information about work, software necessary to work, etc. They should do a payroll deduction, still doesn't guarantee they are a legitimate company though.
The audience would be the blue states,
aka, the ones who voted for Kerry. I guarantee this movie will flop in the red states. It's just one more attempt to push the gay agenda down our throats, making it more mainstream and palatable. Won't happen in my state, Texas. There is no such thing as a gay cowboy, that's an oxymoron.
Labor laws in some states (particularly CA) SM
are more stringent and some of the nationals won't hire from certain states because their laws are stricter than federal labor laws.
there R plenty of states where parents....n/m

All you fans of the government must be from one o' them RED states..........
If you have such a productive life, why do you even care about MT, let alone spend time posting on an MT forum?
I use this one all the time, good for all states.

Unless an employer states you can represent them in
Few employers will want employees to advertise their personal lives in such a way and then tag it to their employer.
I don't blame them, either.
People have no sense.
Actually it makes sense in all 50 states

How does your contract read??? It if states
you are doing the work then they have the right to drop you from their account as you are not adhering to your contract. They have a right to know who is doing their work.
Many states have the same program, called
Angel Food Ministries.
Have any of you in the higher priced states...
Just a question, don't get mad. I moved out of Delaware many, many years ago. The wages there are below national levels (don't know if its changed) and I found I could not be a single mom and buy a decent home for my child there. I did research and ended up in Florida where there is no state tax and cost of living was a lot cheaper. Even though we moved away from family, I think it was the best decision I ever made.
Some states just don't like Californians. PERIOD.
I know that having lived most of my life here, I would never want to live anywhere else, especially in a landlocked state with no ocean.
It certainly IS a national. They hire from other states.
