There's nothing new under the sun

In Reply to: How can it be against the Bible when it wasn't even - that's a stretch
That simple phrase from the Bible covers everything imaginable, even things yet to be named.
Don't get caught up in thinking just because there's not a certain word or action listed in the Bible that it's a new thing.
And I'm not saying you're against God, or the Bible.
But hear me out, and think about it. If the Bible is true (which is my belief), then God isn't pleased with astrology/fortune telling. If for no other reason, it's damaging to your relationship with Him.
As for entertainment purposes: Some thoughts shouldn't be entertained for obvious reasons. It's hard for the mind to let go of what it sees. In this case, you read what's going to happen, it puts thoughts in your head, and you may even do things to make it happen to some extent. Some people go so far as to let it control their lives.
Benefit of the doubt: If you can shrug it off, it's entertainment, a conversation piece, good for a laugh.
But the mind is funny; the soul is fragile. Why take chances?
