is that pay should rise accordingly. The only reasoning for VBC is for uniformity in the industry, to avoid the numerous ways of counting lines, to give the MT industry more credibility. I read an article in Advance a couple of months ago on this topic, and one of the issues was how to compensate the MTs, not penalize them. So it would be reasonable to expect if a company goes to VBC, they should increase the line rate, not penalize you for it! WE SHOULD ALL INSIST ON THIS AND STAND TOGETHER!
