The Outlander series by Diana Galbadon ~ sm

Posted By: gmg on 2006-06-02
In Reply to: ANOTHER POLL - favorite books - read more than once (sm) - reader

Read the first one ~ Outlander ~ 4 times and the rest of them twice, except the last one, A Breath of Snow and Ashes, but I am sure I will reread it before the last in the series comes out.

Awesome books!

Yup, same as Diana ... if the work dictates (sm)
I work until it's done even if it's weekends. Technically I don't "have" to since my contracts state M-F but I don't mind the weekends if I don't have huge plans and there's a lot of work to be done.
Saving Keystrokes by Diana Rolland.
I think that's what she titled the newest version of her book.  I got mine from Half.com.  I went from 6% to 34% on my expander stats since I read the book, and I still add more expansions every day.
Congratulations! Diana O. of W. Virginia on winning the third dinner!
Send an email to admin@mtstars.com with your full address and your choice of dinner gift card and we will ship it out to you immediately!
"Saving Keystrokes" by Diana Rolland sold on the Stedman's site.
Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other bookstores also have it, too.  It was a good book with plenty of hints on using expanders.
Wow, the complete series!! (sm)
You'll be busy for days!  I'd love it too, cause there are some I missed, but I figured I will rent one season at a time, or buy it if I can find a good price.  Never shopped on ebay before.  Happy viewing!!
Anyone use the Wordfinder Series
if so, any opinions on it?
I use an hp psc 1300 series all-in-one.
I have been using this printer for about 6 years and have not had any problems. If the paper jams, it is easy to get to and clear. I refill my print cartridges myself and they work fine but do given out in time and need to be replaced. I have never had a technical problem. I also go online to check for updates for my printer. In all, I think hp psc 1300 series is a good printer. It has never let me down.
i like the winsor series but i haven't
used any other series so i can't compare them. my toddler will do them with me so that makes it fun but also a little more of a challange. try renting some different tapes from the video store before you buy anything.  i bought the whole series in a set when it was on sale at target and haven't opened one of the 3 tapes. when i was faithful to doing it, i did notice a difference. but just like every other exercise, i don't keep up on it. i have my trusty ab roller here next to my desk and when i need a few minutes to regroup i'll do crunches until it hurts to much and go back to typing.   it's hard to stay motivated when i'm always so tired...
Who do you want to win the World Series? Astros here.

White Sox. They should have won the last World Series

Series of reports on baby sm
I did a series of reports on a brain damaged baby.  Over the course of time, the mother had to come to realize her baby would never be normal, never be off the respirator.  She finally made the choice to take the baby off life support.  THe final death report was so hard to transcribe.
any fans of the TV series, The Virginian?

If so, there is a bunch of fans from around the world that have a website...

to sell and overnight! Thanks a bunch.
SUM Program Career Development Series
Interpreting Radiology and Imaging Dictation is the second unit in The SUM Program Career Development Series. Designed to help transcriptionists and editors improve their radiology skills and knowledge base, the unit contains 119 reports dictated by real physicians on actual patients across all radiology and imaging categories:

Plain Radiography
Contrast Radiography
Ultrasonography
Computed Tomography
Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Nuclear Imaging
Just transcribe the material and check your work against the accurate transcription provided.

The accompanying ancillary material provides guidelines, tips, and exercises to increase your understanding of medical imaging procedures. AHDI offers CEC credit to those who complete the exercises.

Bonus: an electronic version of the entire 750-page reference Radiology/Imaging Words and Phrases.

I have used the SUM ESL training CD, and the programs they have put together are outstanding.
