No, it means you will have the option of offering it
to the next highest bidder if the original high bidder does not pay. Usually you will just leave it there until item is paid for and shipped. It's really just in case the first deal doesn't go through.

Need som advice from somebody's hubby about car auction.
Looking to purchase a slightly used car from a car auction and not really sure how it works. I am a single gal so of course I do not want to go into this blindly. Want to know if there is a maximum amount before bid will be considered or is it whatever the highest bidder is gets the car even if it is let's say 500. I am looking to spend about 5000 to 6000 but if I am highest bidder at 500 or so, is it mine? Not sure. Feel kind of girly and dumb, LOL.

and got a great deal entirely on my own.
Have your top dollar amount in mind, and don't exceed it. People mainly get into trouble at auctions when they get carried away and bid more than they can afford.
Make sure that you've factored in any dealer prep fees, taxes and registration into your total. Do you have the Blue Book price of the car you're looking at? What's the mileage?
The main concern is to make sure that the car is in good condition. If there isn't a Carfax report (and there should be), get the VIN and go online to read the vehicle's history before you consider it. You should also insist on a test drive. Open the hood, and check the tires.

May I ask what area of the country you are in?
how 'bout Bay??? Or a local auction house, or
take pictures to local jewlers. (Wouldn't recommend taking the original on first visits). ebay might also give you some information re: comparables.
Get a refund? Check details of your auction
Hopefully your auction included the potenitality of a refund (buyer may or may not have known of a defect) and there is often a buyer's protection offered for items of this amount. Check out those possibilities quickly as you don't have unlimited time to make a claim.
I would unplug the C-phone and then unseat and re-seat all connectors. Make sure you have the connectors in the right way, and also of course check that volume control :) !

That is what I'm doing, but I want to read the seller's
response to negative/neutral feedback. If the seller responds back in a nasty manner I don't want to deal with them. If the only negative is shipping is too high that isn't going to influence me bidding, but if they are ugly to what appears to be an innocent post I don't want to deal with them. I don't care if they have 100+ positives, I don't want to do business with someone like that.

Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you want to look at it. I did just put in the frame and hung it up. It's kind of in a darker corner of my office, so it doesn't show up that well. I'm just disappointed. It is a 1986 poster for the release of a Paul McCartney album and it is of he and his wife Linda. It's an awesome poster and like I said from where I put it, you can't really tell. Hopefully, it will smooth out some in time.

Hi,
Does anyone know about offernig E-Signature to a client? Is there a way to do it easily, on your own -- I mean, instead of signing up with a big company like Vianeta or Bayscribe to handle all of the reports you type and want to send to a client.
Or... If that's the only way to go - through a big company - are there any big companies that are economical if you just have 1-2 doctor clients? I know some of those companies charge like $5,000 as a set up fee. Thank you.

Catering to consumers put off by the accents of Bangalore, Manila and other call-center hubs around the globe, Dell will guarantee -- for a price -- that the person who picks up the phone on a support call will be, as company ads mention in bold text, "based in North America."
The Your Tech Team service, with agents in the United States, costs $12.95 a month for customers with a Dell account, or $99 a year for people who buy a new computer. It also promises that wait times will average two minutes or less. Without the upgrade, a customer is likely to get technical help from someone in India, the Philippines or the other places where Dell has operators.
By charging customers extra for a North American voice, Dell's program represents a novel strategy for easing the strains of globalization while maintaining profit, industry officials said.
Occasionally, "we've heard from customers that it's hard to understand a particular accent and that they couldn't understand the instructions they were getting," said Dell spokesman Bob Kaufman. "This illustrates Dell's commitment to customer choice."

On this new MQ rewards plan what exactly is it offering statutory employees and I suppose that that
is going to be the end of our quarterly bonus. My concern still is if there is no work how do you get any incentive if they lower the base rate. Sounds like employees will have a larger window to get their work done which means we all will be scrambling around for work at all hours.

I have been trying to figure out for the last five days since I started frequenting this site...but what in the world does it mean when people put things like nm and sm in their posts? This is driving me NUTS!!

What she means is (sm)
that DocQScribe does not count the characters that you input into the demographics screen, even if you have to do it all with nothing imported. This means that characters MTs previously were paid for -- patient name, dates of service, referring physicians' names, courtesy copy names/addresses, are not compensated. If you do a lot of little reports, that will mean a HUGE decrease in line count, whereas the impact won't be so bad if you do mostly long consults. Unfortunately most companies seem to be going this way, even the very nice company I'm working for now which has me hunting through blurred PDFs of faxes to find the patient information (I'm hanging in there because it's a new account and they say they'll have the demographics imported). At MQ and DSG DQS paid for spaces; I've heard that Accuscribe does not. The "red headers" are paid for. As you say, it's simple to check your line counts using Word or MedPen's counting program.
As lovely a platform as DQS is, the overall opinion seems to be that line counts drop dramatically when using it. I don't know if that's really always true since the second day I worked for DSG I did 1500 lines, but I know that I had to leave MQ after DQS as I never was able to make the money I felt I needed. There are still a few good companies out there, but you have to really search them out.

This leads me to believe, in conjunction with what you are saying, that our rates will be based on the above criteria. Each MT has probably been evaluated and given some rating score or something that will determine each of our "specialized new" base pay.
What I'm anxious about is the fact SE is not mentioned. I have a feeling (JUST a feeling -- since employee was the only word used) they are doing away with SE. If so, no more quarterly bonus and the IRS perks that go along with SE status. That will make me VERY sad.
