That is the most childish reaction I have ever heard. My 10-year-old wouldn't come up with that.

Prevacid/Protonix Reaction. Anyone ever had a reaction to these mediciations? (sm))
My dad was placed on Prevacid/Protonix for chronic Coumadin anaphylaxis and it makes him very agitated or tearful. Anyone ever experience this?
I heard this, too. I was going to file early this year
but the IRS won't even be processing them. I think the gubbamint is outta money so they're waiting until they get money in before paying out to the early filers who are expecting refunds.
I have been waiting since I first heard they were coming back last year...
and I'll probably fall asleep before the ending. Happens all the time.
Okay ladies, that's just childish
I wanted to have a serious discussion about the value of taking the test compared to the value of the profession at this point and where it's headed in the future. I do take a lot of pride in my work, but taking the test and maintaining my certification are something that will put a strain on my already strained budget. I'm wondering what good or if it will do any good at all to spend the money to get a 1 cpl increase and still come up short after a 55% line cut due to VR.
I keep reading posts that say if you're not happy get out, there's other jobs. And posts that say VR is the future for MT, so get used to it. When hearing all this, it makes me wonder if I'm smart to invest to secure my future or just get out now before I invest all this and be obsolete in 10 years.
what's childish? it's the truth.
If you want to waste your money on that test, go ahead, but first ask your employer how much more money they are going to pay you because you are *certified*
Right. Again with the "hahaha". Not childish at all.

Talk about childish!
x
That explains ALL your childish behavior.
.
Look who's talking! Talk about childish. nm

So agree about that childish banning and also like children............
it was their way or no way! Well now she and Goldbird are banned forever! How about that? What goes around really does come around huh? LOL
That was my first reaction, too (sm)
But then I thought about it and that he earned the win, why share it? Also, what benefit would it be to her if she constantly had the stigma of the person who really didn't win but had to have a handout? He had a split second decision to make, and he managed to do some impressively quick thinking. I'm not thrilled with donald for putting him on the spot like that. It was Donald's decision, and ultimately Randall will take the blame in most people's minds.
My first reaction was that perhaps the sm
dictator made some corrections and changes to the original report transcribed by you by dictating a partial report somewhere else and that QA "spliced" and corrected the information and you got the whole thing back by mistake. (whew--run-on sentence!).
QA should always initial reports they change.
YW! I had the same reaction....n/m

MTs trying to get a reaction
When people post of their high earnings, I think it is just a ploy to see what others are going to say/react.
It's like when you watch the Suzie Ormond show and this 30-something makes $80K a year, has 300K in their 401K, 20K in savings and owns a house worth 250K.
It makes you wonder how in the H... somebody so young cold have gotten so far head in such a short time in this tough economy????
Take it with a grain of salt. It's not how much you earn, it's how much you spend.
His reaction was even funnier.:)
nm
Just someone trying to get a reaction out of people again.

possible allergic reaction to something--sm
You also sound like you think it may be psychosomatic, which is always a possibility, but don't think so. possibly mumps, which is going around again these days. Get to a doctor. soon. jmo
My initial reaction would be the same as yours, but...
then years of guilt trips from my mother and grandmother would kick in and I would probably at least send a gift. Not saying that's what you should do, because I think it takes nerve to blow off your family like she seems to have done and then send invitations to her own shower.
Did you expect this reaction? n/m
n
It does sound like an allergic reaction...
What did he eat or drink prior to breaking out? As long as it doesn't get any worse, I would just ride it out. But if it does, I would follow the advice of the other poster.
his next allergic reaction will be quicker and worse.
get thee to an allergist.
It wouldn't load with my Office. Somehow it wouldn't "read" my 2003 Basic, although sm
technical couldn't find anything wrong with my software. They really tried hard. I see so many people that like Escription, I'm sorry not to be able to use it. Hopefully I can get Office Pro on my next machine, and maybe use it then. I could upgrade, but I'm still not sure it would work.
Affect is an Action (or psych state)..Effect is a rEaction

Wouldn't that mean that you simply wouldn't have to print out everything?
Mine are in year-round thank goodness! They've started their new year 2 months ago.

Union diesil mechanic - good pay, great benefits. We swap year to year on who brings home more sm
money.....but I am an IC and he has all the benefits...health insurance/dental that the company pays for, pension plan, 401k, etc. Factor all of that in and he makes way more than I do.
I WASN'T GUESSING. I HEARD WHAT I HEARD VERY CLEARLY.
I don't even agree with what QA said, but they are QA. Question them, and your out the door.
to cowgirl - Last I knew, last year the job paid $25,000/year no taxes, etc.
The hospital was bombed about a year ago, but not a lot of damage, very minimal damage.

After I went to a 1-year MT course at a vocational school, it was so bad that I did the 2-year colle
Not only did I finally receive the proper training, but the woman on the advisory board hired and mentored me. I also joined the local AAMT and networked. Good luck. I know how frustrating it can be. A community college will have a good program to include medical language, MT courses taught by local MTSOs, business English, anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, etc.
I think he makes $700,000.00 a year, and if they ask him to walk before his first year MQ has...sm
to pay him a cool 1 million dollars. You can check this out at the Medquist website. I think the CFO makes $350,000 a year, and the head of IT makes $250.000 a year.
P.S. This does not include the perks, like expense account, car allowance, sign-on bonus, etc.
Our 16 year old son has been working for a year now to pay for his truck.
He's learning how to sand and do body work and how the engine and transmission go together. My parents didn't buy cars for my siblings and I either. I had a 20+ year old beater car until I could afford to move up to a a newer one.
I see all the nice new cars parked in the high school parking lot every day. It's nice that so many disrespectful punk kids get handed something nicer to drive than what all the teachers drive. Oh, well. Honestly, I think most of them borrow Mommy or Daddy's car or are the child of a doctor who can afford to hand them everything.
Hopefully, my kids will take better care of their cars because they bought and built them on their own. You're not going to grow up to be responsible if you don't work hard for something and expect Mommy and Daddy to bail you out all the time.
Oh, my Dad lectured us on even allowing our child to have a vehicle because Dad didn't have one until after he had worked his way through college, lettered on the football team, got straight As, lettered on the baseball team, yadda yadda. He either walked or hitched a ride. Yeah, well, times were different back then, Daddy-O. LOL At least my kid has the opportunity to work and earn his own car.
IC - 30 hours week, $98K last year. So far this year - 28K. sm
Individual IC - own account(s).
Not me, owed last year, and expect to owe this year- sm
or break even, had more expenses this year. Only owed $200 but still don't want to owe at all. Need to start doing estimated tax payments again so I don't owe! Guess I will get off my butt and do that this year.
come on.. you cannot compare a 2-year-old and a 15-year-old
x
46/F I have a 9-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy.
.
Got $$$$ back last year but this year
I have to pay them, sold a property I never lived in but I had enough sense to set aside $45,000 so just waiting on them to send me my WT2s so I can get started.
sure she wouldn't
I am sure that you will always have control over your daughter and her behavior, even when you aren't around. And if she ever does act differently than you believe she would and has some serious consequences because of it, I guess you guys will just deserve it. Right?
I wouldn't
unless you had been scammed by her. SOunds like plenty of people have already called, that have had real dealings. Up to you I guess.
I wouldn't sm
count my chickens before they hatch. It's way hard to get a line count when you type a report or 2, sit and wait for an hour or 2 for another report to come up, etc. etc. If you get 200 lines in a day at 9 cpl, why that adds up to a whopping $18.00.
Good luck, you're gonna need it.
I wouldn't, but that's just me.
There are many ways to serve one's country. It is not necessary to be in the military to assume a role of protecting and helping your fellow countrymen.
I would no sooner turn back if I had heard the story you speak of than I would if I was a soldier in Iraq amid all the suicide/car bombings.
It's all about character. A soldier has no choice; it's his job; he has to stay. If a civilian will take the chance of being robbed of his material possessions to help those who are fighting for mere existence, to me that is a true American.
I wouldn't let her do this!
JMHO, of course, but your daughter's life is worth way more than what it will cost you to pick her up each day.
New drivers, young kids, NO WAY; recipe for disaster.
My daughter is 15, and her friends will all be driving before her, and she thinks she's gonna be riding to and from school with them---wrong! I know it's hard and this seems much easier, but right now, I'd keep shuttling her home! She's your baby, after all!
I wouldn't want him to just because of the
I am with the poster who says follow your instincts. You have the answers within yourself. Listen to your own gut feelings. You are there watching the situation. We will only inject our own beliefs, fears, and experiences. Plus we aren't there to see what's actually happening. You wouldn't post if there were not a valid concern. I wouldn't allow it just because of the germs. Even if I felt it was harmless, I would have him shower first before bathing with a female child. Just because of the possibilty of passing germs. I wouldn't bath with my daughter because I didn't want the possibilty of a yeast infection passing to her when she was an infant or toddler.
That's just my opinion, however. You really have to listen to your own voice on issues like this one. Best wishes.
Mother2Jazzy
I wouldn't
I went with them for a short period of time. I asked for PT to make sure we had a "fit" but they said they only hire PT. I took the FT and for the first 9 days had absolutely no work, one report per day. They said they couldn't give me a backup until I was off QA, yet I couldn't get off QA until I had enough reports. Also they promise a training bonus on the first check and I did not get it and had to write to the Attorney General.
I wouldn't buy anything until I know what the
company I work for wants me to have. You could spend a lot of money on equipment you won't need. Another thing you might need is a C-phone or something like that, but some companies provide those too. Just wait until you know what you'll need for where you work.
If you are IC, I wouldn't think so. nm
:+
wouldn't let me put it on lol
100% agree is what that should have read
I wouldn't (sm)
My six-year-old still wears the Goodnites at nighttime. I tried allowing him to wear underwear to bed, but it just interrupted his sleep and my sleep to get up change him, change the bed, etc., etc. Sometimes boys take a little longer to be dry all night. My nephew was that way and I remember growing up my brother was that way as well. My honest opinion is why put yourself through lack of sleep for everyone involved. My son goes to the bathroom right before bedtime. Sometimes he wakes up dry, sometimes he doesn't. I would be more concerned with staying dry and clean during waking hours.
No I wouldn't.
