that since Halloween is commercialized it doesn't really mean anything. Using that theory, Christmas wouldn't mean anything either. Are we willing to say the same thing about Christmas? Christmas is one of the most comercialized holidays there is, but it is also one of the most sacred in Christianity. Does the commercialization make it any less holy? Not to me.
If you understand the meaning of Halloween, and you and your God are okay with celebrating it, have a blast.
Unfortunately, man has taken organized religion and used it to promote their own wants, desires, and agendas. I don't think that was God's intention for the church. Too many times we look to our spiritual leaders for decisions rather than guidance. We let them do the work for us, if you will. If you let your spiritual leader determine what's right for you based on their relationship with God, you're not as likely to go to your God and the Bible with your questions, and the relationship with God isn't as fulfilling as it can be. Also, since we can't know someone else's heart, we don't know how reliable their information is.
