It would probably be cheaper on the MTs out there as well. Recertification would be cheaper and so would the yearly dues. It would also mean that AAMT would have to follow state-regulated guidelines.

those offshore. That would also mean that AAMT would have to agree to decertify those offshore MTs that took the CMT. It was a HUGE mistake for AAMT to ever allow offshore individuals the ability to take the CMT.
Kudos to you for trying, but I suspect you probably won't be reupping your membership when it's time for renewal. Best of luck.
State Licensure for physicians
I use the State licensing agency for whatever state the physician is in. I just Google State License or Health State licenses and it brings that particular website up and then I do a search. Great Tool!
